Cappino Physiotherapy & Wellness Center is expanding and currently seeks a dynamic, creative and self-disciplined Registered Physiotherapist for a part-time and full-time position. Conveniently located in two locations, the West Island within the Fitness City /Monster Gym complex and 81 Don Quichotte, L’Ile Perrot, Cappino offers services to out-patients referred by the medical community and sports organizations. Our center offers a fresh and unique approach to wellness, providing a variety of health care services that include: physiotherapy, massage therapy, occupational therapy, osteopathy, professional counseling and dietetics.

Responsibilities include:

• Individual consultations with clients to assess and treat orthopedic conditions;
• Ability to construct individualized treatment plans based on client’s medical condition;
• Promote healthy living habits to the public through blogs and quarterly newsletters.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Physiotherapy;
• Member of the Ordre professionnel des physiothérapeutes du Québec (OPPQ);
• Valid professional practice insurance;
• Relevant work experience in the field of orthopedics. Experience in an out-patient setting is a significant asset;
• Strong communication skills in English and French;
• Strong hands-on techniques and skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Entrepreneurial in nature.

• Carry out his or her functions in a professional way in accordance with his or her professional capabilities in collaboration with the therapists;
• Work with the staff of our multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and services;
• Provide adequate treatment for patients with health problems from a variety of backgrounds in order to optimize their healing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec;
• Interest in working in a multidisciplinary environment;
• Ready to put the efforts in developing the service at the clinic;
• Bilingual French/English (asset).

• Member of Fédération des Kinésiologues du Québec or intend to join;
• Registered with a professional insurance plan;
• Relevant experience;
• Ability to prepare thorough rehabilitation programs for clients;
• Advanced technical and interpersonal competencies;
• Works well autonomously;
• Bilingual French/English (asset).
• Interested in learning and applying KneeKG training
• Interest in concussion management.
